Madison Rafter – Executive Director
I am the new executive director at South Wood County Humane Society. I am from Kewaskum, WI originally. I was working at Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee and Green Bay campuses for the past 3 years. I moved to Stevens Point a little over a year and a half ago. I have 4 fur babies. Two dogs, 8 year old hairless chihuahua, a 13 year old min pin, a 9 year old Holland Lop rabbit, and a hamster. Between my family we have 8 dogs, a rabbit, hamster, and a gecko. I’m excited to be able to work for SWCHS, and continue supporting the community and the animals we have come into our care!
Katilyn – Animal Care Director
Fluffy Description
Nicole – Office Manager
I am a lifelong Wisconsin Rapids native. I have always had a very strong passion for animals. Throughout the years, my family has adopted three dogs and one cat from the South Wood County Humane Society. Between my family and myself, we have four dogs (a dachshund/terrier, two golden doodles, and a golden retriever) and four cats (domestic short hairs). I hope that in my role at the Humane Society, I can help these loving animals find their forever homes and bring happiness to the families that take them home.
